  • What is Kawa Events?
    Kawa Events - is Philly based company, that creates beautiful experiences across trips-state area (PA, NJ, NY) – picnic / proposal setups, tablescapes, decorations – you name it and we will make sure to exceed your expectations by making your dream event a reality.
  • Where can I have an event?
    At Kawa Events, we offer our services at various outdoor and indoor locations such as parks, gardens, beaches, and private properties chosen by you. We can assist you with finding a perfect location; however, obtaining any required permits, especially for public places, remains your responsibility. If you would like to do an event at a private property, such as your backyard or even indoors, we will gladly come to you and set everything up.
  • How far in advance should I book?
    The sooner the better. We accept bookings at least one week in advance in order to plan everything accordingly. If you need to book later in advance, feel free to contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request based on our availability.
  • What is your booking, cancellation and rescheduling policy?
    To book an event with us and secure your spot, you have to pay 25% non-refundable down payment and $100 refundable security deposit. We charge the rest of amount 3 days before your booked event. If you wish to cancel an event, we will refund you only $100 security deposit. In order to keep 25% of down payment, you have to reschedule an event for another available date and time. These changes has to be made at least 3 days in advance of event. Any cancellations made with less than 3 days notice before the scheduled event date are not eligible for a refund or rescheduling. Cancellations made by Kawa Events will be fully refunded. By booking with us, you agree to our terms and conditions.
  • What is the security deposit policy?
    At Kawa Events, we collect a $100 security deposit at the time of payment for each event. If there are no damages or stolen items from our inventory, the security deposit will be fully refunded to you within one week after the event.
  • What is the weather policy for outdoor events?
    We understands that the weather can be unpredictable, especially for outdoor events like picnics. In this case Kawa Events has the right to cancel event due to the weather, although we will work with you to find an alternative date or location for your picnic. Events can be moved inside your home or other desired location. If changing location or rescheduling is not an options for you, a full refund will be provided.
  • What is your guest count policy?
    After making the final payment (3 days before the event), the guest count cannot be lowered. However, if you need to add more guests to the event, this can be accommodated at any time for an additional cost. Please note that any adjustments to the guest count must be discussed and agreed upon with us. While we strive to accommodate last-minute guest changes whenever possible, due to planning constraints, Kawa Events may not always be able to accept significant increases in guest count.
  • Do you provide food, drinks, alcohol?
    No, we do not provide food or drinks. It is important to note that most public places do not allow alcohol, and if you choose to bring alcohol to the picnic, it is your full responsibility to adhere to any relevant rules or regulations.
  • What areas do you cover?
    We are a Philadelphia-based company, but we are happy to bring our picnics to any location within a 150-mile radius. Please note that additional travel fees will apply depending on your specific location. All locations within 15-mile are free of travel charge.
  • How long is each event?
    Most of our events are set for 3 hours. If you would like to extend the duration of your event, please make sure to provide us with at least 24 hours notice. If you wish to add more time while you are at the event, simply contact us and we will be happy to add extra time depending on our availability. An additional cost for each hour will apply depending on amount of guests.
  • How many guests can you serve?
    For our picnic services, we can serve up to 30 guests by providing picnic tables, pillows and decorations. Our table styling services have unlimited decor supplies, so we can cater to as many people as needed, although we do not provide tables and chairs in this case, only decorations and tableware.
  • What to expect on the day of event?
    To ensure the smooth and efficient setup of your event, our team will arrive at the agreed-upon location 2-3 hours in advance. We kindly request that guests refrain from arriving early to their event, as this allows us to fully set everything up before everyone's arrival. Additionally, to prevent any potential issues, we ask that you do not leave our equipment unattended before the end of your booked time. After your event concludes, we'll take care of everything, efficiently cleaning up and collecting our equipment.
